Enable UPnP support

Settings level: Basic
Description: Enables the UPnP component of Kodi which allows you to stream media from your Kodi video and music library to a UPnP client and to detect remote UPnP servers on the network.

Settings level: Basic
Description: This will enable the UPnP server component and allows the streaming of media in your libraries to a UPnP client on the network.

Announce library updates

Settings level: Standard
Description: When enabled, connected UPnP clients will be notified if a manual or automatic library update occurs on the UPnP server.


Look for external subtitles

Settings level: Standard
Description: Look for external subtitles for videos provided by the UPnP server. This can cause extensive CPU, filesystem and network load.

Look for remote UPnP players

Settings level: Standard
Description: Enable the UPnP control point. This allows you to stream media to any UPnP client and control its playback.


Allow remote control via UPnP
