| Question= Stylized subs (SSA/ASS) cause stutter/frame drops | |||
| Answer= | |||
* This is a known issue. Stylized subs (commonly found in anime, for example) will mess up playback when you are on ATV iOS 4.4.4 due to that version of iOS using more system resources. This is one of the reasons using an ATV iOS version before 4.4.4 is recommended. While the XBMC devs are looking into this (that is, general iOS/XBMC efficiency) there is currently no fix other than downgrading (which requires a previously saved SHSH blob. If you don't know what that is then you probably don't have one). Un-stylized subs will still playback correctly. | |||
