What should be clean on this page?

Hello.

I read this page a lot of times and I'm now willing to keep it clean.

Can anyone detail the improvements expected?

Step one would be to make sure that what's currently listed still applies to XBMC v11. Just about everything should, I think. Then add the new protocols that might be missing, like AFP, NFS, etc. Then just general spell checking, making things sound clear and easy to understand, stuff like that. -- Ned Scott 13:27, 29 March 2012 (EDT)

Next question, do we have to coordinate the content of this page (which does not appear in the menu of the Online Manual), with the pages like http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=SMB (which are on the menu)? This last page describes how to set-up a SMB share, and not how to use it with XBMC. I would suggest to add the "media source type" page somewhere in the menu, describing all supported protocols, and one page by protocol describing how to configure it in XBMC and how to provide the service with home made servers (or other ways).

This specific page just describes what these source types look like in sources.xml, and is a sub-page of that. Individual source pages, like SMB, NFS, AFP, should talk about how to both set them up on a computer and how to access them within XBMC. -- Ned Scott 14:54, 29 March 2012 (EDT)
