The guidance here is misleading and confusing - the article needs re-writing.

A TV show typically comprises multiple seasons and episodes, but the article fails to clearly describe the sets of files to be created for a show and instead assumes that all the reader wants to do is point Kodi to an appropriate online repository. The reader may require to create all the nfos for the entire show.

Describing an individual season or episode within a file intended to be for the show not a season or episode is counter-intuitive and further adds to the confusion.
