This is a list of repositories and add-ons that have been identified as violating the XBMC forum rules. This means they have been banned from any official XBMC forums, websites, IRC channels and any social media accounts that are under the control of Team XBMC or the XBMC Foundation.

This list is only an example, and might not include all add-ons or services that violate the forum rules.

Here we go again, Smartstream are nothing but a IPTV pirate outfit selling dirt cheap AMLogic hardware at massively inflated prices to unsuspecting Mums and Dads. Yes the boxes may work Ok for a while but there is an organised crackdown worldwide on such IPTV pirate outfits that will catch up with resellers and users of such devices sooner rather than later, rendering them broken and useless.

While Team XBMC does not regulate what users install or use, we ask that you do not come to any of the official XBMC websites for support on these repos/add-ons. Failure to do so may result in a ban.

How do I tell if something is allow or not
We will not help users one little bit where Smartstream are concerned
The basic rule of thumb for what is not allowed is that if the Add-on is offering something for free that you would normally expect to pay for by any other means, then it'll most likely be using pirate feeds.

If the Add-on simply allows access to web feeds from the rights holders then discussion of these is normally allowed, in this case there generally will be a website equivalent of the service, for example Youtube, BBC iPlayer, Netflix.

Note - If the Add-on is from our Official Add-on Repo then it has already been checked that it doesn't break our rules, therefore anything contained in the Official Repo is safe to discuss in any of our websites/channels.

Every Add-on should contain the authors name, this found by opening the Context menu on the Add-on and selecting Add-on Information

Generally a search of the Add-on's name together with the author name will give the location of where the author is active.

[quote="wrxtasy" pid='2685311' dateline='1514756510'] Here we go again, Smartstream are nothing but a IPTV pirate outfit selling dirt cheap AMLogic hardware at massively inflated prices to unsuspecting Mums and Dads.
