#REDIRECT Music_navigation

| valign="top" |
When you first open My Music, the interface will look like the image on the right. Dominating the screen on the right-hand side is where your media is displayed. In this case, it is displaying all of the bookmarks available to My Music. To the left hand side, you have the following controls:

; View
: You can select List, Icons or Big Icons.
; Sort By
: You can choose what criteria to sort your media by. Note the arrow to the right which controls whether the items are sorted in ascending or descending order.
; Switch View
: This control allows you to switch between File View and The Library View.
; Playlists
: This control allows you to view your playlists.

Playing music is as simple as navigating through your bookmarks and selecting a song.

The Context Menu
The context menu allows you to interact with the individual media items. You can view the context menu by highlighting an individual track or folder and pressing the white button (or the Title button on the remote). The following options are available on the menu:
; Album Information
: This allows you to view information about the item from Allmusic.com. You can achieve the same result by simply highlighting the item and pressing the Info button on the remote.
; Play Using
: Allows you to choose which player will be used for the file. You can choose between PAPlayer, MPlayer and DVDPlayer for most files. If the item is selected is a folder, then selecting this option simply plays all of the items in the folder.
; Queue Item
: Adds the item to the Now Playing playlist
; Scan to Database
: Scans the item into the the Music Library. Performing this on a folder will cause every item in the folder to be scanned.
; Search
: Allows you to search for specific media
; Delete
: Deletes the item. Must be enabled in the Appearance Settings.
; Rename
: Renames the item. Must be enabled in the Appearance Settings.
; Settings
: Opens the My Music Settings menu.
