There have to be some confusion between "DVBViewer" and "DVBLink" PVR clients for XBMC | There have to be some confusion between "DVBViewer" and "DVBLink" PVR clients for XBMC, and some people seem to think that they are the same PVR backend software, but DVBViewer software is by A.I.S., Ltd. which is not the same software as DVBLink by DVBLogic. Maybe the confusion is due to to them both starting their names with "DVB", or maybe it's because use can use, or maybe is because you can use DVBLogic TV tuner hardware with DVBViewer software. | ||

DVBViewer Recording Service software is a PVR backend (TV tuner server) software made by A.I.S., Ltd. for Windows

Overview
DVBViewer Recording Service frontend supports streaming of Live TV, Timers, Recordings, and EPG. For parsing the XML output from the RS webinterface it uses the xmlParser library developed by Frank Vanden Berghen (http://www.applied-mathematics.net/tools/xmlParser.html).
DVBViewer by A.I.S., Ltd. is not the same software as DVBLink by DVBLogic
