XBian is an XBMC and linux-based OS (based on Raspbian) distribution for Raspberry Pi, created and maintained by Koenkk.

Installing XBian

  1. Download the XBian version of your choice (we recommend the latest) XBian Downloads
  2. Open Win32DiskImager.exe (win32diskimager -> Win32DiskImager.exe)
  3. Press the blue folder icon and select XBian img file
  4. Select your SD card in the device section
  5. Press Write -> Yes
  6. When done plug the SD card into your Raspberry Pi
  7. Have fun!
