PVR/Contents Editor note: Needs a short introduction and any important notes in context to XBMC, like limitations, pros, cons, whatever. Nothing too in depth, but something that people might want to be aware of before they choose this backend.

Connecting XBMC to VDR

  1. Download the VDR PVR client add-on through the add-on manager in XBMC: Settings -> Add-ons -> Get add-ons -> XBMC.org -> PVR Clients
  2. Go to Settings -> Add-ons -> Enabled add-ons -> PVR Clients and select the VDR add-on
  3. Select "Configure"
