:how it looks now is how it should look. If the bold text and color background isn't enough, then indenting the text won't do anything and will just look goofy. Most "notes" don't even need a template or special formatting in the first place. Trying to make everything stand out will make nothing stand out. -- [[User:Ned Scott|Ned Scott]] 16:28, 26 April 2013 (EDT)

:: Its not about the background color or making it stand out, its about making it easy to read when text wraps around on larger paragraphs, imo its MUCH easier to read like I suggest it should be, then as it is atm. Otherwise wouldnt bother with this. I find it hard to read for e.g.
::I think whats important to keep in mind here is, that not everyone has 20\20 vision. Usability wise it can be improved, tbh the background color is slightly moot, because what about ppl who are color blind?

How it is

Note: This is not the general idea if the note has something more to add that is not explainable in one sentence or paragraph, yes ideally notes would be short and concise, but not everyone is capable of explaining themselves in one short sentence and even if they do, the chances are, the person reading it wont get it.--uNiversal 13:06, 25 April 2013 (EDT)

This is how the code looks so far. though replacing text with {{{1}}} doesnt work as expected.

{| width="100%" style="background-color: #ffeaa5; border: 1px solid #ffeaa5; font-size: 100%; clear: both" |
 | valign="top" style="padding: 5px 2px 2px 5px" | '''Note:'''

Its not about the background color or making it stand out, its about making it easy to read when text wraps around on larger paragraphs, imo its MUCH easier to read like I suggest it should be, then as it is atm. Otherwise wouldnt bother with this. I find it hard to read for e.g.
I think whats important to keep in mind here is, that not everyone has 20\20 vision. Usability wise it can be improved, tbh the background color is slightly moot, because what about ppl who are color blind?
