How to compile Tvheadend from github for Arch Linux ARM (ALARM).

  1. SSH into the device and enter the following commands:
  2. pacman -Sy git
  3. type "y" then enter
  4. pacman -S kernel26-headers file base-devel abs
  5. First press 1 then enter
  6. Press enter again
  7. git clone git://github.com/tvheadend/tvheadend.git
  8. cd tvheadend
  9. ./configure
  10. make install
  11. /usr/local/bin/tvheadend -C
