What program should I use?
To be honest, mostly all modern day FTP programs do practically the same thing.  It is a matter of preference and what you are used to that are the two determining factors of which FTP program you download, install, and use.

Some popular FTP Programs:

General Setup
In order to connect to your Xbox via FTP, you will need a home network setup or your Xbox connected to a NIC on your computer with a cross-over cable. Once your Xbox has a network connection, and can receive the weather and RSS feeds, your Xbox is connected to the Internet.  If you are having troubles with Network connection, refer to the Networking Section of the Using XBMC FAQ.

To Connect to Xbox with SmartFTP
