OUYA | HOW-TO:Install Kodi on OUYA |
OUYA uses XBMC for Android. The current XBMC version, v13 "Gotham", should be fully compatible with the OUYA.
- XBMC for Android - We currently recommend the current stable Android build (v13 "Gotham"). It is the most recent version, and contains the latest fixes and improvements. AC3 and DTS audio processing is supported.

- XBMC on OUYA - An unofficial version of XBMC based on v12.2, but with hardware video decoding, available from the OUYA Store. This version has AC3 and DTS audio processing disabled due to licensing issues.
- SPMC - Because XBMC on OUYA (Store version) has AC3 and DTS audio disabled, you can download SPMC, which is the OUYA store version (v12.2) + AC3/DTS: http://ouyaforum.com/showthread.php?8220-SPMC-Koying
Side-loading development builds
These steps show how to side load a development build, instead of the version included in the OUYA store.
Step 3: Go to

and download the latest nightly build.
