Alternative keymaps for the Amazon Fire TV remote, as suggested by the community.
Note: To make the remote work with XBMC's on-screen-keyboard, go to XBMC -> Settings -> System -> Input devices and enable Remote control sends keyboard presses
Keymap 1
- Cut and paste the following into a new text document and save as keyboard.xml and place in
userdata/keymaps/

What it does
Changes from the default are shown in bold print.
- Global
- 3. Directional pad:
- Up
- Down
- Right
- Left
- 4. Select
- 6. Context menu
- 7. Fast forward
- 8. Play/pause
- 9. Back
- 10. Rewind
- Video playback
- 3. Directional pad:
- Up: Volume up
- Down: Volume down
- Right: +30 seconds
- Left: -30 seconds
- 4. On-screen-display menu/select
- 6. SmallStepBack (go back 7 seconds)
- 7. Fast forward
- 8. Play/pause
- 9. Stop
- 10. Rewind
