The term Library in XBMC refers to one of the the built in databases. The following articles are all relevant to the XBMC libray.

• The XBMC Database. The Database is the underlying structure for the Music and Video Libraries.
  • Music Library. XBMC collects ID tag information to create the Music Library.
  • Video Library. XBMC scrapes information from external websites such as the IMDb to create the Video Library
