Note! This article will cover that '''Xiaomi Mi Box''' first released in 2016 with Android TV 6.0, and maybe successors to that box. That '''Xiaomi Mi Box''' first released in 2016 is the first box from Xiaomi that was done in partnership with Google's Android team and upon release in 2016 it inofficially replaced Google's own Nexus series of boxes.  Xiaomi had before that released a whole series of Android TV box that that was also called "Xiaomi Mi Box" (but was or are still often sold as Xiaomi Mi Box Enhanced or Xiaomi Mi Box Pro).

Controls

You can use standard Bluetooth accessories, such as a wireless keyboard, mouse, or game controller.

Bluetooth remote

  • Xiaomi Mi Box Remote.
  • Other standard Bluetooth remotes (such as the Amazon Fire TV replacement remote) can be paired and should also work.

Bluetooth Gamepads

  • Xiaomi Mi Game Controller

CEC

Generic Android-level CEC support is available on the Android TV platform, however Kodi will not see a CEC device directly, but instead just treat the it like generic input.

USB

USB port allows for various additional remote types, such as FLIRC IR dongle, various RF dongles, etc. Most of these devices will likely show up as a keyboard type input.

Other bluetooth devices

It should be possible to pair other bluetooth controllers and remotes to the Xiaomi Mi Box. Most of these devices will likely show up as a keyboard type input.
