==Heyo==
Again, welcome and have fun! [[User:Ned Scott|Ned Scott]] ([[User talk:Ned Scott|talk]]) 06:38, 19 January 2014 (EST)
Hey, great work on the wiki lately. You've picking this up pretty well! Just to let you know, though, I wouldn't worry to much about tweaking design stuff too much, because pretty soon the wiki is getting a new skin/appearance as apart of an overhaul on xbmc.org, so it might be easier to tweak that stuff then. Which isn't saying you can't do any of that now, but I just didn't want you to feel like you wasted your time. I'm honestly not sure what all it will even effect yet, since I've mostly just seen screen shots of mockups and such.

In any case, thanks for all the hard work! -- [[User:Ned Scott|Ned Scott]] 04:54, 18 November 2012 (EST)

==Hey :D==
Your welcome ;) and thank you.

For reference if the page contains header {{whatever header}} it would be nice if the text at top of page didn't display unless a {{whatever header}} is not present, but that's just wishful thinking.

I wanted to update some pages that dont have edit buttons perhaps you can do that for me now templates headers exist to match wiki home.--uNiversal 05:33, 18 November 2012 (EST)

:Yeah, it should be possible to replace the normally generated header with the graphical one. I'll see what can be done about it. -- [[User:Ned Scott|Ned Scott]] 17:48, 18 November 2012 (EST)
::Thank you. Great since its actual txt on the gfx headers screen readers and non graphical browser can still see it(accessibility is important apparently). However if a header doesnt exist ideally should fall back to default.--uNiversal 19:18, 18 November 2012 (EST)

My original reason for reverting is I was trying to figure out why the navigation table was doubled, but I do admit that I wasn't crazy about the appearance. However, I really like how it looks now with that formatting template! I saw some of the other ones you've been working on, and they also look great. I'm sorry I don't always get back to you right away, but you've been doing such a great job that you're one of the users I don't really worry about when they go and do stuff here. Thanks man! -- [[User:Ned Scott|Ned Scott]] 06:34, 27 December 2012 (EST)
:Thank you. Its hard to figure out somethings straight away, and especially template stuff. My main reason for creating these new headers is twofold.
:#the divbox and others are massive and span across the whole lenght, and in this example it was cleraly screwed up, and going behind other templates and affecting how the whoel thing displayed.
:#Wanted a way to call attention to something without taking over the page some wikis use this method in all pages, Using bold '''CAPITAL TEXT''' is not enough for readers. {{highlight template is unreadable most of the time.
:In this page I was trying to figure it out/fix when suddenly it was reverted. so I was still in middle of things, though it all turned out ok in end.

It's great that you help out so much on the wiki, but trying to go around my decisions isn't cool. I get what you're saying, but not every notice or piece of information can or should be a huge notice, or should even be the main notice for a given page. You're looking at one case where someone might need that information from the page, but not looking at how it becomes distracting/confusing for other people reading the page (especially those still on stable versions). There's a concept in retail stores called over-signage, where all packages compete for people's attention and end up with nothing standing out because people learn to ignore things when everything is trying to stand out at once. It's good to keep that concept in mind when trying to make help pages like this. -- [[User:Ned Scott|Ned Scott]] 01:30, 7 May 2013 (EDT)

::Yes I understand, but please make the text on things at least not smaller than normal using <nowiki><small></nowiki> is far from ideal, Im not joking or trying to be difficult or trying to go around anything, when I say not everyone has 20\20 vision. Some stuff around here is hard to read because its text size is tiny and minuscule and some templates styles make it worst e.g. '''bordered=yes''' I for instance find various things I mentioned before, hard to read because I cant see them so have to squint not cool.. Also settings page only thing that needed was reverting the gotham template since I turned the content ( navigation style) into a template for easier inclusion on other pages.--uNiversal 05:26, 7 May 2013 (EDT)

:::I'm sorry, I handled that poorly. I got frusterated and didn't stop to think how offenseive it was to just delete the template you were working on. Most of what you do is fine and great, but there's some things, various formatting ideas, that I would like you to work with me on first. You're a good editor here, and I would hate to see you leave just because I was out of touch and too abrupt. Again, I'm very sorry. -- [[User:Ned Scott|Ned Scott]] 02:09, 12 May 2013 (EDT)

If you choose to leave then I'm going to remove the templates that only you wanted. I was going to replace them anyways, and told you multiple times to not bother creating them, but you refused to listen to me. They will not work with the new wiki layout. You and you alone took it upon yourself to work on things that no one asked you to work on. I don't understand why you did that rather than working on the actual content of the wiki, which you were great at.

You constantly throw passive aggressive fits when you don't get your way, and you constantly ignore my pleas for you to consider other view points. When I've put my foot down, you try to sneak your changes in anyways. You assume that your way is right, and then you make sweeping changes, often destroying other people's work. I don't have time for your bullshit.

Do not PM me anymore on the forums. I cannot reply to them, and I will not read them anymore. -- [[User:Ned Scott|Ned Scott]] 12:15, 14 May 2013 (EDT)

Thank you. Its hard to figure out somethings straight away, and especially template stuff. My main reason for creating these new headers is twofold.
  1. the divbox and others are massive and span across the whole lenght, and in this example it was cleraly screwed up, and going behind other templates and affecting how the whoel thing displayed.
  2. Wanted a way to call attention to something without taking over the page some wikis use this method in all pages, Using bold CAPITAL TEXT is not enough for readers. {{highlight template is unreadable most of the time.
