More offline media support is pending on developers Accepting this one year old patch https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/551 and when this happens the releavnt documentations should be updated by whoever knows about this. i.e. not me--uNiversal 07:38, 21 January 2013 (EST)

That PR is just for offline file access. The current page is up to date for offline disc access. The offline file access also works differently in that it doesn't just display a message to "connect X drive", but it will be able to connect directly to the file if the drive is already connected. For DVDs and BRs it just says "insert X disc" and then plays whatever disc is inserted. -- Ned Scott 09:39, 21 January 2013 (EST)
That PR applies to offline files in USB/Esata (removable drives) devices which are not supported atm as I understand, the current implementation only applies to files in discs (also offline) thats what is understood by the PR I mentioned above--uNiversal 11:33, 21 January 2013 (EST)
Correct, but the page really doesn't need a "cleanup" until it's actually a feature in XBMC :) -- Ned Scott 06:54, 22 January 2013 (EST)
No because Ive already cleanup and added info though idk if its complete information ;)--uNiversal 12:27, 22 January 2013 (EST)
