1 General

1.1 Instant recording action

Settings level:

Standard

Description:

Action to perform when pressing the record button: Record current show: Record the current show from "now" to the end of the show. If no TV guide data is currently available a fixed length recording starting "now", with the value set for "Instant recording duration" will be scheduled. Record for a fixed period of time: Start recording from now for a fixed length recording starting from "now", with the duration set for "Instant recording duration". Ask what to do: Choose what to do from the pop-up

1.2 Instant recording duration

Settings level:	Standard
Description:	Duration of the recording when pressing the record button. This value will be taken into account if "Instant recording action" is set to "Record for a fixed period of time".

1.3 Default start padding time

Settings level:	Advanced
Description:	Start recordings before the program commencement time by the amount set here. Useful to capture unforseen schedule changes. Not supported by all add-ons and backends.

1.4 Default end padding time

Settings level:	Advanced
Description:	End recordings after the program end time by the amount set here. Useful to capture unforseen schedule changes. Not supported by all add-ons and backends.

1.5 Display a notification on timer updates

Settings level:	Advanced
Description:	Displays a notification when timers are added, finished or removed by the backend.
