This category contains the electronic programming guide (EPG) settings.
General
Days to display
| Settings level: | Advanced |
| Description: | Number of days to show in the guide and import data for from backends. |
Default select action
| Settings level: | Standard |
| Description: | Select what will happen when an item is selected in the guide:
"Show context menu": Will trigger the context menu from where you can choose further actions "Switch to channel": Will instantly tune to the related channel "Show information": Will display a detailed information with plot and further options "Record": Woll create a recording timer for the selected item |
Hide 'no information available' labels

| Description: | Hides "no information available" labels when no EPG data could be retrieved for a channel. |
Updates
Update interval
| Settings level: | Advanced |
| Description: | Time between guide data imports from backends. Defaults to 120 minutes. |
Prevent updates during playback
| Settings level: | Advanced |
| Description: | Do not import Guide data while playing TV, to minimise CPU usage. |
Don't cache in local database
| Settings level: | Advanced |
| Description: | Guide data is stored in a local database by default, to speed up EPG importing when Kodi is restarted. Enabling this option will prevent that. |
Clear data
| Settings level: | Standard |
| Description: | Delete the cached guide data and reimport it from the backend. |
