Quick start guide

Editor note: The basic steps here need to be expanded with screenshots. It would be good to also emphasize or just plain repeat that people need to enable a PVR add-on before this step. If anyone has time to work on this, it would be appreciated.

Installing PVR Client Addons

Kodi releases do not include any pre-installed PVR client addons by default. To install a PVR client addon, please visit the Add-on manager page and read the section on how to install add-ons from a repository.

For basic features on most PVR add-ons/backend, you only need to go to Settings -> Live TV -> General and "Enable Live TV". If you have set up a PVR backend and related add-on correctly in the previous steps, then you should be able to go to the next step, The basics of Live TV and recording.
