OUYA uses XBMC for Android. The future XBMC version, v13 "Gotham", should be fully compatible with the OUYA.

  1. XBMC for Android - For brave test users, we currently recommend a nightly Android build. It is an unstable development version, but contains the latest fixes and improvements. http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/android/arm/
  2. XBMC on OUYA - An unofficial version of XBMC based on v12.2, but with hardware video decoding, available from the OUYA Store. This version has AC3 and DTS audio processing disabled due to licensing issues.
  3. SPMC - Because the XBMC for OUYA version has AC3 and DTS audio disabled, you can download SPMC, which is the OUYA store version (v12,2) + AC3/DTS: http://ouyaforum.com/showthread.php?8220-SPMC-Koying

These steps show how to side load a development build, instead of the version included in the OUYA store.
