I really think the remotes section needs some clarification. Most important is the need to clarify between remote types

1) Keyboard remotes are often low cost remotes that emulate a keyboard. These are often called WIndows media center remotes but are not

2) Real Windows Media Center remotes.

3) Remotes that emulate Joysticks such Perfect Choice" branded PS3 remote

4) Remotes supported under LIRC

I do not have all of the information to make the changes , but I can say that whay I am reading regarding editicng remote.xml makes little sense on my lirc supported Xbox 360 remote.

On another note the xbox360 remote in the remotes section is also quite ambiguous as there are Infra Red and RF remotes for xbox 360. I do not believe it is even mentioned.

SOmetimes having partial information misleads a user leading to frustration. I think a lot of clean up is needed here . If a noob were trying to support an XBOX360 IR remote on Raspberry Pi with GPIO IR receiver , I could see how a noob could be confused.
The Pivos XIOS is the original development target for the XBMC for Android port. The XIOS performs at or above the level of a jailbroken ATV2, but also comes with USB ports, micro-SD card, and doesn't need to be jailbroken. Build quality and support is above the average ARM box.<section end="intro" />
Note that "Official Builds" are Frodo 12.0 and that there is NO OFFICIAL (and apparently no stable) 12.3 version. Pivos has made no official XBMC release since May 2013.
===Android===
* Pivos's Official build: http://www.pivosforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=847
* Unofficial Frodo builds: http://www.pivosforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=2967
Note that "Official Builds" are Frodo 12.0 and that there is NO OFFICIAL (and apparently no stable) 12.3 version. Pivos has made no official XBMC release since May 2013. XBMC for Android will run on Pivos but will not have hardware acceleration, which limits you to Standard Definition only.

==Performance tips==
To get the most out of XBMC on the Pivos XIOS, you'll want to do the following:
* Run the linux Firmware (see [[#Installing XBMC]] for links).
* Format a fast micro SD card with a folder on it that says "xbmc-data", so that your [[userdata]] is stored there. Not only will this give you more space, but even SD cards are faster than the internal memory chip in the Pivos
* other stuff to be listed soon

==Remote control==
